L\u2019International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Arts and Tourism (IGCAT) a officiellement recommand\u00e9 le Cap Bon pour obtenir le titre de \u00ab World Region of Gastronomy 2028 \u00bb, une distinction internationale qui r\u00e9compense les r\u00e9gions valorisant leur patrimoine culinaire comme moteur de d\u00e9veloppement durable, culturel et touristique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si la ratification officielle doit encore \u00eatre valid\u00e9e par le conseil consultatif de l\u2019IGCAT en juin 2026, cette recommandation constitue d\u00e9j\u00e0 une reconnaissance majeure pour la Tunisie et pour toute la r\u00e9gion du Cap Bon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une premi\u00e8re pour la Tunisie et pour l\u2019Afrique<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Cap Bon devient la premi\u00e8re r\u00e9gion tunisienne et africaine \u00e0 rejoindre cette plateforme mondiale d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 la gastronomie et au tourisme durable. La r\u00e9gion rejoint ainsi un r\u00e9seau international regroupant plusieurs territoires reconnus pour leur identit\u00e9 culinaire et leur capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 associer alimentation, culture, agriculture, tourisme et pr\u00e9servation de l\u2019environnement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette initiative mondiale est port\u00e9e par l\u2019IGCAT, une organisation internationale bas\u00e9e en Europe qui travaille sur la valorisation des patrimoines gastronomiques r\u00e9gionaux. Le programme est n\u00e9 en Europe avant de s\u2019\u00e9tendre \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle mondiale \u00e0 partir de 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pourquoi le Cap Bon a \u00e9t\u00e9 choisi<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Selon l\u2019IGCAT, le choix du Cap Bon repose sur plusieurs \u00e9l\u00e9ments qui distinguent la r\u00e9gion :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>la richesse de sa production agricole ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>la diversit\u00e9 de son patrimoine culinaire ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>l\u2019importance des traditions locales ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>le lien entre gastronomie, tourisme et culture ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>l\u2019engagement des acteurs locaux dans la pr\u00e9servation du patrimoine et de la biodiversit\u00e9.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Cap Bon est notamment connu pour :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ses agrumes ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ses vignobles ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ses oliveraies ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ses produits de la mer ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>sa harissa traditionnelle ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ses march\u00e9s locaux et son artisanat alimentaire.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>La cuisine de la r\u00e9gion refl\u00e8te \u00e9galement plusieurs influences historiques : berb\u00e8res, ph\u00e9niciennes, romaines, arabes et andalouses. Cette diversit\u00e9 culturelle a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 construire une identit\u00e9 gastronomique particuli\u00e8rement riche en Tunisie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une visite du jury international dans la r\u00e9gion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>D\u00e9but mai 2026, une d\u00e9l\u00e9gation internationale mandat\u00e9e par l\u2019IGCAT s\u2019est rendue dans plusieurs villes du Cap Bon afin d\u2019\u00e9valuer la candidature de la r\u00e9gion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le parcours du jury s\u2019est \u00e9tendu de Soliman \u00e0 El Haouaria, avec plusieurs \u00e9tapes consacr\u00e9es \u00e0 la d\u00e9couverte du patrimoine local, de l\u2019agriculture et des traditions culinaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La d\u00e9l\u00e9gation a notamment visit\u00e9 :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>des fermes biologiques \u00e0 Takelsa ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>le site arch\u00e9ologique de Kerkouane ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>des ateliers de pr\u00e9paration de sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9s locales ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>plusieurs \u00e9tablissements touristiques de la r\u00e9gion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Les membres du jury ont \u00e9galement rencontr\u00e9 des producteurs, artisans, p\u00eacheurs, chefs et responsables touristiques impliqu\u00e9s dans le d\u00e9veloppement du territoire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un levier pour le tourisme tunisien<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour les acteurs du tourisme, cette reconnaissance repr\u00e9sente une opportunit\u00e9 importante pour renforcer l\u2019image du Cap Bon \u00e0 l\u2019international.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9 r\u00e9gional du tourisme de Nabeul, Wahid Ben Fraj, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que cette recommandation est le r\u00e9sultat d\u2019un travail visant \u00e0 faire de la gastronomie un pilier du tourisme tunisien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selon lui, l\u2019int\u00e9gration du Cap Bon dans cette plateforme mondiale pourrait permettre :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>d\u2019attirer un nouveau tourisme culturel et gastronomique ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>de promouvoir les produits locaux ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>de soutenir les petits producteurs et artisans ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>de d\u00e9velopper un tourisme plus durable dans la r\u00e9gion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>La r\u00e9gion pourrait \u00e9galement accueillir le Sommet mondial de la gastronomie en 2028 si la nomination est officiellement valid\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une strat\u00e9gie mondiale autour de la gastronomie<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le programme \u00ab World Region of Gastronomy \u00bb r\u00e9compense les r\u00e9gions qui utilisent leur patrimoine alimentaire comme outil de d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique et culturel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019objectif de l\u2019initiative est de promouvoir :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>des syst\u00e8mes alimentaires durables ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>la protection des traditions culinaires ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>le tourisme responsable ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>la valorisation des produits locaux ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>l\u2019innovation dans les secteurs agricoles et alimentaires.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Parmi les r\u00e9gions d\u00e9j\u00e0 reconnues ou recommand\u00e9es figurent notamment :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>l\u2019Asir en Arabie saoudite ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>la Catalogne en Espagne ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manab\u00ed en \u00c9quateur.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une reconnaissance symbolique pour le Cap Bon<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Au-del\u00e0 de l\u2019aspect touristique, cette recommandation met en lumi\u00e8re le r\u00f4le du patrimoine culinaire tunisien dans l\u2019identit\u00e9 culturelle du pays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Cap Bon poss\u00e8de depuis longtemps une place particuli\u00e8re dans l\u2019agriculture et la gastronomie tunisiennes.
